Idaho Enhanced Concealed Weapons Class (copy)

Required for the Idaho ECWL

This course is the required training both legal and shooting requirement for the Idaho Enhanced Concealed Weapons License(ECWL). We begin with classroom legal presentation along with information concerning shooting, position, picking the right firearm, and other topics. The course requires you to have a pistol or revolver, 100 rds of appropriate caliber ammunition, extra magazines/speed-loaders (2 or more, the more you have the less reloading you will do), a hip holster (cross-draw and shoulder holster are not allowed), a jacket or sweat shirt(for concealed drawing), ear and eye protection. Dress for the weather and wear closed toed shoes or boots and no v-neck shirts as hot brass can cause problems. All shooting will be conducted from a standing position.

We will have snacks and water for the classroom. Lunch is included in the fee for the class (please ensure you eat in a timely manner) and will be at the VFW Hall. The range is a 20-30min drive and does not have bathroom facilities so ensure you take care of that prior to movement to range.
